Welcome to Paws & Whiskers by Luke. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Our Services

We provide professional pet care services, including:

  • Solo Dog Walking
  • Pet Sitting
  • Drop-In Visits

All services are subject to availability.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made through our website or by contacting us directly.
  • A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received (unless otherwise agreed).
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where we believe we cannot safely provide the service.

3. Payments

  • Payment is required before your scheduled service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) and may be updated at any time. Existing confirmed bookings will not be affected by future price changes.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Where applicable, approved refunds will be processed minus any stated non-refundable booking fee.

5. Pet Health & Welfare

Owners must ensure that:

  • Their pet is fit, healthy and suitable for the requested service.
  • Any medical conditions, behavioural concerns or allergies are disclosed before the booking.
  • Dogs are vaccinated in accordance with veterinary advice and are receiving appropriate flea and worm treatment where applicable.
  • Any history of aggression or biting is disclosed before the service.

We reserve the right to refuse or end a service if a pet presents an unacceptable risk to people, other animals or itself.

6. Veterinary Emergencies

If your pet becomes ill or is injured while in our care, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you immediately.

If we are unable to reach you and urgent veterinary treatment is required, you authorise Paws & Whiskers by Luke to seek emergency veterinary care in the best interests of your pet.

Any veterinary fees remain the responsibility of the pet owner.

7. Access to Your Property

Where services are provided at your home:

  • You agree to provide safe and secure access to your property.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your property is safe for us to enter.
  • Keys or access information will be handled confidentially and used only for providing the agreed service.

8. Weather & Safety

Your pet’s welfare is our priority.

Walks may be shortened, rescheduled or cancelled during extreme weather conditions, including excessive heat, storms, flooding or icy conditions, where continuing would not be safe.

9. Liability

While every reasonable care will be taken, pets are animals and unpredictable situations can occur.

Paws & Whiskers by Luke will not be liable for:

  • Illness or injury resulting from undisclosed medical or behavioural conditions.
  • Loss or damage caused by inaccurate information supplied by the owner.
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather or emergencies.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where this would be unlawful under UK law.

10. Photos

From time to time, we may take photographs of pets during our services.

These images may be used on our website or social media unless you let us know that you do not wish your pet to appear in promotional material.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
